Born in Kyiv in a family of cinematographers, Anastasiia grew up surrounded by film. Her specialty is visual humour and meticulous care when dealing with actors. This knack for performance granted her several international awards like the Audience Award as well as Jury Prize at the Young Directors Award and the Special award from ADC UA (Ukrainian Art Directors Club).
